Relationship-Induced Bi-Polar Disorder, Music, and You.

So I get into a relationship with a wonderful girlie... About the same time I discover Incubus. If you haven't heard of them, go check 'em out; especially the album Light Grenades and the tracks Deep Inside, Drive, and Nice to Know You. But anyway, things are going pretty well (relatively, there are always problems) and Incubus, being a band that plays fairly happy, feel good music, fitted so well with my mood that it quickly overtook my other musical tastes.

But all good things have to come to an end... So I got dumped (long story). But, looking at my recent music (Last.fm), I've just realised something. Muse, Metallica and other such artists are moving back up the list, Incubus moving down.

Just struck me as interesting, really. Didn't think music was such a big part of my life, turns out it really, really is. Wondered if anyone else has had similar experiences?

P.s Just realised I never explained what "Relationship-Induced Bi-Polar Disorder" was... It's a disorder I made up, but you can probably work out what it means. Basically, a relationship can change your behaviour in more ways than you'd realise... Even your musical tastes.
